This is a full-time on-site role as the Hebrew language teacher at Lumio Private School. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in teaching Hebrew and one more foreign language, with a preference given to holders of a Master's degree
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role at an International School is required.
• In-depth knowledge of modern teaching methods.
• Experience working in an international school setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. Advanced or native-level proficiency in English.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is highly desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, with a preference given to holders of a Master's degree (preferably in 2 out of the following languages: German, Russian, Italian, French )

Role Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, implement and evaluate the MFL curriculum using the Lumio Curriculum Framework as guidance.
• Complete a Subject Leader action plan using the school template.
• Establish and implement a base-line assessment policy which ensures an accurate MFL proficiency level and target setting process for every student.
• Write a MFL Curriculum Policy, in line with The Ministry of Education.
• Lead, manage, support and develop staff in the delivery of MFL teaching, ensuring effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement for all students, in line with the Lumio Learning Framework.
• Line manage specialist teachers as directed by the Head of School (and associated members of the SLT).
• Provide strategic leadership for the development and management of the MFL curriculum throughout the school; ensuring there is continuity of provision in the planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of the MFL curriculum in a way that meets the Lumio curriculum philosophy.
• Develop and monitor the programme of study, schemes of work and units plans across the whole school and ensure successful implementation which meets curriculum requirements.
• Ensure the establishment of common standards of practice across the subject and develop the effectiveness of teaching and learning styles.
• Plan and implement strategies with line manager to improve teaching where needs are identified.
